Criteria
Applications are accepted through ERAS and the National Resident Matching Program (Categorical Program 1957120C0). We abide by all ERAS criteria and deadlines.
- Preference for applicants having less than two attempts to pass on any part of the USMLE/COMLEX
- Passage of all Step/Level exams within a seven-year timeframe as required by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure
- Preference for applicants having graduated in the last two years, and/or having been in practice/clinical setting and/or an ACGME/AOS approved program if greater than two years
- We grant interviews to all applicants from UMMC and from William Carey Osteopathic School
- For international Graduates:
- Must have a valid ECFMG certificate
- Our institution sponsors J-1 Visas
- United States clinical experiences preferred
